alphaAlpha Technologies, worldwide power solutions provider, will display a wide array of Cable TV/Broadband Power products and services this week at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo in Denver, CO.

“With network reliability being of critical importance, MSO’s recognize the need to proactively maintain their network assets,” said Drew Zogby, Alpha Technologies’ President and COO. “With over three decades of industry leadership, Alpha offers expertise in both the products and comprehensive services that are critical in building and maintaining a reliable network. We are excited to showcase our industry leading power products and our growing service offerings at the upcoming SCTE Cable Tec EXPO.”

In addition to a dedicated Alpha Technologies Services area featuring Construction and Installation Services, Critical Facilities and Outside Plant Preventative Maintenance Programs, and Equipment Repair Services, Alpha will showcase several new and innovative power products that enhance network reliability and provide customers with a greater sense of security and performance.

Among these are Alpha’s full line of generators, including the AlphaGen ACX and DCX portable generators, which are designed for easy deployment in the event of planned or unplanned network power outages.

The DCX2000 and DCX3000 are capable of delivering 2000 and 3000 Watts of continuous power while the ACX 2000i delivers 2000 Watts of continuous power. The new generators boast a number of new features – the DCX models include a remote monitoring option, allowing generator status to be easily determined.  All models work seamlessly with Alpha power supplies and AlphaCell batteries.

Alpha will also be showcasing several enhanced security and theft deterrent products designed to combat the growing problem of equipment theft.

For Renewable Energy applications, Alpha will display its PVPS system for critical facilities power and OutBack Power’s FLEXpower ONE Inverter System, a compact, easy-to-install, pre-wired system for applications with small to medium power requirements. Both systems feature advanced PV designs to deliver pure sine wave power while preserving operator resources and easing maintenance requirements.

All Alpha power solutions will be displayed in Booth 855 at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo, the cable telecommunications engineering show of the year hosting 10,000 attendees annually.
