For the first time in the Diamond Technology Review’s 13-year history, products that stood out amongst the competition were named technology winners in their respective categories. The AlphaGateway BSC claimed its Diamond Award for best in Active Network Hardware with its transformative technology that meets the high power, high bandwidth needs of Small Cell applications.

Similar to the AlphaGateway SMG, the BSC utilizes a hardened DOCSIS 3.1 modem along with enhanced power transformation technology. The four outputs on the device provide 80-90VAC connections totaling 300W, enabling power and backhaul for up to four Small Cell radios, or other revenue-generating devices.
